In First Antrim all members of the fellowship are encouraged to take part in ministry, but within the fellowship there are those with areas of particular responsibility.

Eldership (Kirk Session): Are elected by the congregation and ordained by the Templepatrick Presbytery (of which we are part) to watch over and promote the spiritual welfare of the congregation and the local community.
Session Meetings involve the elected members from the congregation and meet once a month. These members have been voted on to the Session to oversee the pastoral care of the congregation. At the Session meeting the members study God's Word, pray and then discuss the various activities and events that have and will take place. Session also meet to pray regularly on Tuesday evenings. |
Congregational Committee: A big group of people elected by the congregation to look after all the practical aspects of congregational life.
The Congregational Committee is made up of elected members from the congregation and Session who meet monthly to discuss issues with regard to the upkeep of the property belonging to First Antrim. Different sub-committees report to the Congregational Committee with regard to:
