Prayer ministry/Divine healing is God working to bring wholeness of body, mind and spirit. When you come for ministry of prayer it is to Jesus that you come. Many in our fellowship have received physical healing, others emotional and/or spiritual healing! That's why we provide opportunities for prayer ministry where people can come along for prayer and the laying on of hands. "You do not have, because you do not ask God." James 4:2.
More could make use of this ministry on the last Sunday of each month after the pm service so please pray:
That God would show us miracles of healing through our ministry to others.
That we would do what God brings to us and be faithful in that and leave the rest to Him.
That God would fill us with compassion for others particularly for the sick so that His power would be available to heal the sick.
That in all the lovely things He does for the people we pray for that He will get all the glory and praise.
That God would generously pour out his spiritual gifts to minister effectively to others and that we would 'eagerly desire the greater gifts'.
That God would draw people to ask for prayer ministry.
That First would acquire an atmosphere of the empowering presence of God and a readiness to believe in the miraculous.
Meet 3rd Wednesday of each month at 1:30pm in Bruce Hall. There is a welcome for all ages.
Thank God for:
the opportunity to have a variety of speakers
for the friendship and fellowship of each other.
the committee as they plan programmes and events
members to encourage others to come along and enjoy friendship over a cup of tea
God's blessing on this work as God's people we would continue to do the work God has planned for each of us to do.
SU E3 worker Mark Hawthorne
E3 stands for Engaging, Equipping and Empowering Christian pupils, teachers and the local church so that God's good news would be known in school. Mark is the E3 schools worker for the Antrim borough and he is a very busy, enthusiastic and professional young man who is passionate about seeing young people commit their lives to Christ. Often we under-estimate the golden opportunity we have with this programme to see the gospel reach hundreds of young people who would otherwise have no contact with God's word. Mark and his team want you to know your prayers are essential.
Give thanks for:
continued financial support, many from our own fellowship support this work regularly
Mark and his team, many of whom are volunteers
contacts already made with schools, one in the maintained sector
contact with and encouragement for children from our own congregation

Chat n Chew
CHAT n CHEW Give thanks to God for how He has blessed this initiative and how it has progressed since its inception and for those who have come through our doors to enjoy a chat and a chew! Give thanks, too, for the members of the team who come along faithfully week by week to welcome and talk to our friends who gather in. Relationships have been built up.
Relationships to grow stronger and for the foundations of friendships and trust that have been laid to be built upon.
That more people will hear about our outreach and wish to join us.
That the team will have listening ears, caring hearts and gracious words for those who are lonely, hurting, stressed and struggling.
That our friends will see something of our Lord in us and recognise whom we serve.
That the scripture literature will be used and prove to be helpful.
That more helpers will join us for the couple of hours on Thursdays as sometimes we struggle to serve the food as well as talk to the folks.

Remember their three children remaining in Ireland at this time.
Csaba Veres reports that during the MKT (leadership training course) organised by IKE, 20 young people have been learning how to be a fruitful disciple, and have undertaken Bible teaching and practical courses which will help them to lead youth groups in their own towns and villages. The 20 young leaders are currently finishing the course and are preparing to take up their practical placements in the summer. They will continue to be mentored during the next year. Two of the students will be helping at the English camp taking place from 7th to 12th July, which a PCI Ignite Team will be helping to lead.
Pray for the young leaders on the MKT course, as they complete it and take up their practical placements.
Pray for all the plans and preparations for the English camp; pray that the two young leaders from the MKT course will integrate well into the team, and be great spiritual role models for the children.
The new Sunday School book which Naomi Leremore and her colleagues have been working on, has been published and is available for purchase from the PCEA Head Of-fice in Nairobi. ‘Book 3 Year 1’ is a Sunday School teacher’s guidebook containing 52 lessons for use with 10-12 year olds. It is hoped that the books will be distributed to Sun-day School teachers throughout the country.

Pray that the book will bring much blessing on the lives of teachers and children.
Pray for the resumption of regular curriculum team meetings and as decisions are taken regarding future publications.
Naomi Keefe reports in her June Bulletin, that several groups are using outreach materials prepared on the theme of the football World Cup. These include the Good News Club in Peixinhos, and the Centre of Christian Help to the Family in Aguazinha. The Pentecostal Church in Aguazinha are also preparing to use some of the football outreach material in their evangelistic activities. Camocim have postponed their camp for young men until after the World Cup and after the rains, instead deciding to focus on football evangelism within Camocim - particularly within the schools.
Pray for all the outreach initiatives and the Bible Studies, and that God would bring many of the families participating in them to Himself.
Pray for Naomi’s health, as she has been unwell recently and continues to undergo medical tests.

Pray for peace and calm in the country at this difficult time. Pray that humanitarian rights will be upheld and that democracy will soon be restored, with a government committed to helping alleviate poverty in the country.
Remember our partner church, the Church of Christ in Thailand at this time.

As the McKibbin family turn their mind to returning home to Northern Ireland in June, please pray:
For practical arrangements such as pack up, booking flights and a smooth transition back to their home in Antrim
For Anna and Nat who will have to say goodbye to their friends in Manila once again. Help them to restore and make new friendships in Antrim
For Anna and Nat’s schooling that the doors will be opened for them as to where God would have them study
For continuing wisdom for Peter in the oversight of local pastors in the Philippines. Pray that the recent difficult situation following the typhoon will create opportunities to show God’s love and present the gospel to the local people as well as the discipleship of existing believers. Pray that the right person may be found to take over Peter’s oversight role when he returns to Northern Ireland
That the right person will also be found to take over Sarah’s role in supervising short-term OMF workers and also her role as chairperson of the PTA at Faith Academy
For the people of the Philippines who suffered so much in the recent typhoon and prosper the work of the various organisations who continue to work on to restore hope for the future and return people to some semblance of normality.
OUR MISSION PARTNERS & PERSONNEL OVERSEAS
At the start of another New Year, we want to thank all those who faithfully support our work in mission overseas through regular prayer, generous giving and in many other ways, and to encourage others to join in.
Our partners overseas and those who we have sent to work alongside them are enormously grateful for the interest and support received from congregations and members throughout the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. Be assured this is a huge encouragement to them as they see God answer the faithful prayers of His people.
“We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, be-cause we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people — the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world — just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.” Colossians 1:3-6 [NIV]
Let's follow the example of the Apostle, Paul, and KEEP PRAYING for God's people around the world.
