BOOKS Rev TC Ballentine has written a book entitled “Nothing compares to Jesus” costing £8. Some are available in the vestibules and others in the church office. Please put your money in an envelope with “Rev Dr TC Ballentine book” written on it, or leave it into the office. Money raised is going to the Church Building Fund. Thanks.
THANK YOU to the ladies of 1st Antrim for the knitted baskets and bunnies—we had 270 in total! They were given out over Easter to Tiny Tots, Antrim Day Centre, Cedar Ballymena, Children’s home in Romania, Rosedale NH, Clonlee NH, the Children’s Ward, Neo-natal Unit and Macmillen Unit in Antrim Area Hospital! BELFAST CITY MISSION ANNUAL RALLY 2017 This year celebrates 190 years of the work and the rally will be on Thursday 27 April @ 7:30pm in Assembly Buildings. Rev Owen Patterson will be the guest speaker, all very welcome.
TEMPLEPATRICK PRESBYTERY FESTIVAL OF PRAISE The Annual Choir Festival will be held in Templepatrick PC on Thursday 27 April @ 7:45pm. Members of the Congregation are welcome to attend.

PERMISSION At the Linkage Commission on Tuesday past, 1st Antrim Congregation was given permission to proceed to the calling of a Minister.
Members of the Congregation are therefore asked to submit names on any eligible Minister to Rev George Moore or Lyle Creighton in writing by Sunday 23 April.
Ministers of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland who are eligible must have been ordained for at least 6 years or for 3 years if over 35 years of age.
All ministers of other Churches who have been ordained for at least 6 years or for 3 years if over 35 years of age provided they fulfil the other conditions laid down in the Code of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.
PORTABLE APPLIANCE TESTING All portable electrical appliances owned/used on any property within the First Antrim complex MUST be made available for testing on MONDAY 24 APRIL by 9am. The Halls will be open on Friday 21 April from 9am—2pm for any items to be left in for testing. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ANY ITEMS IN CUPBOARDS ARE TAKEN OUT AND PUT IN THE HALLS. All appliances must be labelled with the Organisations name/owners name. Tested appliances must be collected by Tuesday @ 2pm. PLEASE NOTE: personally owned items used in organisations must also be tested otherwise they cannot be used on our premises. Thank you for your co-operation.
