MINISTRY TEAM NEWS as was highlighted last Sunday, Rev Clarke Deering is working in a pastoral capacity with 1st Antrim while in-between ministry opportunities. We therefore congratulate Clarke on receiving a “call” to be minister of Fintona, Ballynattan & Creevan Presbyterian Churches. In the new year, Dr Ian McNie will be coming on board and sharing in the pastoral work of First Antrim; Ian grew up in our congregation, and has served as minister of Kilkeel Presbyterian and recently retired from Trinity, Ballymoney. THANKS I just want to express my thanks for the roles that members of this congregation played in Parkhall College’s “Big move” prior to Christmas. There were continuous expressions of appreciation from staff for the amazing help and provision of food. Many were touched by the generosity and kindness of the local church community. So to those who prayed, made sandwiches and helped with the move, a sincere thank you, Linda.
